About Me

This year we are seeking to expand the number of patients who are actively involved in shaping the future of the Attenborough Surgery, in the ever changing NHS. We want as many of you as possible to join our new Patient Representative Group. Once set up, the group will initially examine its priorities for the surgery. This means that you will be able to express your views on what you want us to be doing, as a practice, in the future. These priorities will help structure the formation of a survey which will be open to all practice patients. If you want to join the patient participation group please add yourself as a follower to this blog. We really value the time and support that you are willing to give to the development of the practice and we hope to do much of the work of the patient representative group online to reduce your time commitment.

How could we improve your communication with the surgery?

  1. What can we do to improve communication between patients and clinicians at the surgery?

  2. I would suggest increased use of text messages or email. Ideal to let patients know that prescriptions are ready for collection or reports are available to view or collect. Could alos possibly be used for things like regular blood test results for Warfarin or Lithium where levels of medication are subject to blood test results.
